Celebrating Graduation at MOSD

Honoring Growth, Achievement, and Bright Futures

Graduation day at the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf is one of our most cherished traditions. It is a celebration of hard work, perseverance, growth, and the incredible accomplishments of our students and families.

Each year, we gather to recognize children who have reached an important milestone in their educational journey. While graduation marks the end of their time at MOSD, it also represents the beginning of exciting new opportunities as they move on to kindergarten and beyond.

A Journey Worth Celebrating

Every graduate arrives at MOSD with a unique story. Along the way, they learn to listen, communicate, build friendships, gain confidence, and discover their own potential.

Behind every milestone is a team of dedicated teachers, audiologists, therapists, and family members who have worked together to support each child’s growth. Graduation provides an opportunity to reflect on those achievements and celebrate how far our students have come.

The Power of Early Intervention

The success of our graduates highlights the life-changing impact of early identification and intervention for children with hearing loss.

Through individualized instruction, family support, audiological services, and a language-rich learning environment, MOSD helps children develop the listening and spoken language skills they need to succeed in school and in life.

Watching our graduates confidently take the stage reminds us why this work matters so much.

Looking Ahead

Although we are sad to see our graduates leave MOSD, we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished. We know they will continue to grow, learn, and achieve great things in the years ahead.

To our graduates and their families: thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. We cannot wait to see what your future holds.

Congratulations, Class of 2026!
