Here at the Speech & Hearing Center of the MidSouth, Memphis Oral School for the Deaf, Audiologists, Dr. Domico and Dr. Lunsford, work to diagnose and treat hearing loss, provide hearing aids, and ensure that our clients and students have the best tools for success. We are proud to work alongside these professionals to empower our students and their families.
MOSD’s audiologists offer services such as cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHAs), and behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aids. Each child receives thorough evaluations and ongoing support, including cochlear implant mapping and hearing aid adjustments. The team conducts daily checks and maintenance, providing aural habilitation (listening therapy) to improve listening skills.
In addition to supporting MOSD students, the audiology team provides community services like audiological testing, hearing aid programming, and cochlear implant counseling, with experience in all three FDA-approved cochlear implant manufacturers. Outpatient services are also available for children in the Mid-South area.
