MOSD Preschool
MOSD empowers children with hearing loss or are hard of hearing who rely on assistive listening devices to have equal access to communication. The Preschool is an eleven (11) month program for children ages 2 through 6 years, that provides ongoing classes and therapies to help the children maintain and develop the skills needed to achieve their full potential.
MOSD Preschool
Preschool classes are held full-time, five days a week, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. These classes follow a thematic curriculum with hands-on activities that foster social, cognitive, perceptual, motor, and language skill development.
At MOSD, all classes emphasize speech and auditory skills, and preschoolers engage in full-day sessions to build academic readiness. Additionally, children benefit from individual and group therapy sessions focused on speech and listening skills to further support their development.

Sound Navigators
Our dynamic Sound Navigators class, taught by Ms. Nicole, is specially designed for children aged 2, who will turn 3 during the school year. This engaging program offers a blend of individual and group instruction tailored to each child's unique needs, fostering a nurturing environment for growth.
In our small class sizes of just 3 to 6 students, we ensure personalized attention and support. Each child participates in 30 minutes of listening therapy every day, five days a week, alongside individualized speech therapy sessions that occur 2 to 5 days per week, based on their specific requirements.
To thrive in this environment, children should be able to walk independently and demonstrate consistent attendance, along with the ability to wear assistive listening devices. As they progress through our program, students will make significant strides toward their language goals, often mastering them while also enhancing their independence in self-help skills.
We are excited to support your child on this incredible journey of growth and discovery!
