Donuts for Dad

MOSD celebrated dads on Thursday morning with Donuts for Dad! The students got to enjoy juice and donuts with their dads (and some moms!) The incredible teachers at MOSD organized this super fun event. A big thank you to Jody's Donuts in Cordova for donating 4 dozen donuts and 4 dozen donut holes to MOSD for Donuts for Dad! See more pictures HERE!

Greg Morris, MOSD alum Marlee Morris' dad, was our guest speaker. It was so nice to hear about the journey of finding out that your child is deaf or hard-of-hearing from a dad's perspective. Marlee started with MOSD's Sound Beginnings program, then attended MOSD's day school until last year when she graduated. Today Marlee is in kindergarten and is thriving - she loves school and loves to swim, play baseball, and play basketball! Watch the video below to hear Greg reassure the dads and talk about the amazing impact MOSD has had on their daughter and their entire family. Thank you to Greg for sharing their journey with us!
