MOSD Receives American Snuff Grant

MOSD is proud to announce we have received a $7,500 grant awarded to us by the American Snuff Company Charitable Trust. The American Snuff Company Charitable Trust seeks to support organizations that make a difference in the communities they serve.  MOSD has a lasting impact on the lives of the children we serve.  Students who graduate MOSD are changed forever as are their families. Removing the barriers created by hearing loss enables our students to access the same opportunities as their hearing peers in a mainstream education setting. Becoming independent oral communicators gives our graduates the best chance to achieve academic success and improves their occupational opportunities as they become adults. By level setting the playing field for children born with hearing loss, MOSD is advancing educational equity and having a lasting impact in the community.
