PETS WEEK AT MOSD

This week the kids learned all about pets! They learned about the different kinds of pets and all the things you do to take care of pets: feeding them, bathing them, what pets eat, where they sleep, taking them for walks, etc.

We even had a visit from two very special pets - Ms. Chelsea brought in her pet bunny, Cotton, and Ms. Holly brought in her new puppy, Anya! The kids loved learning about the bunny and the puppy and they especially liked getting to pet their soft fur. These types of themed visits not only give the kids an opportunity to learn and have fun, but they also create opportunities for spontaneous language, which is what makes MOSD so unique and special!
